One of my fav breakfast spots in Wellington city . Be it the ambience , food, friendly staff or beer ,haven’t disappointed me . The breakfast is one big feast to be honest . Sauted mushrooms , eggs and toast are mouth smacking . The ambience is quiet and ur gf will be pleased to be there with u for bf . Will go there repeatedly .But one thing to take into account is their consistency . They are not every consistent when it comes to maintaining the same taste always. A slight change in taste at times which is the oly bad thing I noticed.
Same old dreary sticky tabled pub with terrible carpet – an absolute classic!! What you see is what you get, have been here a few times, had the BBQ, typically what you make at home. The pub itself is comfortable and spacious not pokey which I like. Lots of activities throughout the week to keep yourself amused.
I didn’t have a main meal. Just chips and gravy. It was very filling and the gravy was dark and rich and beautiful.I’ve had the cheerios there before as well. Really niceAnd they have Speight’s on tap too, but you have to ask for it.There is a t.a.b that’s always bustling, and a pokies room too.And you can even stay the night.Anyway, if you’re after a jug and a sausage then try this place out. I’m mostly just doing this review so that I’m not always writing bad reviews. For every bad review, I will write a good one of somewhere too.
