Fantastic cold brew coffee, fantastic coffee all round with good company ethics which I really respect. Staff are true-blue hospo – fast and on the ball, and the counter food is damn good. I tried a choc-rasp brownie which was unbaked, simply delicious. A real gem for Newtown. This place is great. I like the minimal interior design. I like the community buzz this place cultivates. Good stuff.

Politically ethical, fair trade coffee – People’s – I wanted to like it – an industrial feel – low cost fit out – exposed steel beams – concrete floors – black and white walls – cold on a cold day. Four small tables and a longer shared one. Trim cap was perfectly textured but the coffee was a little weak with some bitterness. A raspberry friande was pleasant but uninteresting.Service was cool (in all senses).Would I go back – I’m not sure – it would have to be the coffee that was the draw but on this occasion it wasn’t brilliant.

Fair Trade. Owner built by knowing growers. Smooth coffee. Top shelf baristas. Great place to hang out. Can get beans in multiple shops. No syrups here.
