Fish and chips from there were relatively average but their fried rice was out of this world! Will always be going back to get my fried rice from here as haven’t found better
The arcade games are my favourite thing about this place. A reasonable late night greasy stop off on the way home. Burgers are average, chips are good. Service is friendly especially considering how late these guys work. I had a fun battle playing spacies with a stranger while waiting for our food late one night. Pretty fun.
One of the nicest fried rice dishes I have had in a very long time. Great deep smokey flavour throughout the rice and really good amount of meats and veg in the combination fried rice. Had the nasi goreng too but it seemed just like the rice with a bit of chilli so go with the standard and you wont go wrong. Awesome! Will be back (we have visited twice already!)
This place has been a Newtown hit since the 90s. Definitely a hot stop for the old arcade games. Food isn’t too bad – just your typical juicy oily fried food. Ensure to eat as soon as possible because it isn’t the greatest to eat the next day, otherwise great place!
Great service, lovely people, fantastic food. Highly recommend pork dumplings, fried rice and the wedges. Always enjoy coming here, classic takeaways at an affordable price.
The food is really good. Especially those potato fritters.The problem I have with this place (and the reason I never go there and never will again) is the human factor. Almost everytime you get food at this place, you get home and find that something you ordered (and paid for) is missing. Happens constantly.I tried calling a couple of times to explain that my order had missing components, but each time the woman who answered just started yelling at me and accusing me of lying.Patrons should not have to put up with all of this stuff. Avoid if possible.About 150 meters on the other side of the basin reserve theres another chip shop that sells food just as good, but they always give you what you order and are really friends. Suggest going there instead people.
