The smooth and creamy Lamb curry along with the crispy naan made a great combo. The gravy was mildly spiced, creamy and a little savory. 5/5 starTheir courteous staff earns more brownie points when it comes to recommending the best dishes and the prompt service. Curry Pot is a perfect place whether you go with your family or friends. Overall it was a fantastic experience & would love to visit again. Cheers!!
The food, service & the price is fantastic. I have tried several restaurants internationally ( Vancouver, Dallas, Durban, Mumbai, New Delhi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fiji, Bali, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Auckland, Christchurch and several restaurants in Wellington & Hutt. I can say with confidence that the food is very similar in taste to Asha Bhosle’s restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The owner could create a special menu under $10 for children as my grandkids can’t eat spicy food. I give 8 out of 10, 2 less for the delays in getting main meal. The rest is fantastic. Was missing out on Indian food. Enjoyed Masala Dosa at Curry Pot. Was a bit pricy but well worth it. I have started ordering food on a regular basis.
Worst Indian ever!!! We dropped $65 biggest mistake of our lives. Naan was cold and they sent us to plain instead of garlic. Lamb vindaloo (hot) was mild and had an inedible disgusting (i kid you not it was something else) taste. Instead of butter chicken (mild), we got some coconut curry with odd potato balls (not even an option) that taste terrible. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
Highly upsetting. The tandoori chicken was dry and burnt. The naan were raw and undercooked. Dont even want to write about the Chicken curry.
Absolutely love! This place has awesome portion sizes, super competitive prices, and fantastic taste. Highly recommend. Oh and the Naan was the best I’ve ever had! Huge, perfectly cooked, and super tasty.
