Best dinner restaurant on the coast by far. The restaurant has a lovely warm feel, staff always attentive and friendly and we have never had a bad meal in all our years going here.B.Y.O is a major bonus! Highly recommend.
Delicious, wonderful service and prompt with food to the table. Had a set menu and the highlights were definitely the salsa Verde and dark chocolate tart – cannot wait to go back
Simply lovely, a regular go to restaurant
Always good food and great service love that it’s BYO
They served the tastiest food that we’ve had in Kapiti Coast. This place is a gem and we regret that we just visited recently to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The wait staffs are very polite and friendly. Highly recommended to everyone who would pay the price worth their meal.
Many thanks to the team at Sopranos Ristorante at Paraparaumu Beach for an amazing night on Saturday. There was a party of 10 of us and we were seated in the private room which gave us plenty of space to move about. We ordered from the set menu of $65 which gave us canapes, antipasti, 4 choices of main and 2 dessert options with a cheese option. The canapes were a selection of delicious bites such as fried calamari, prawns, salmon mousse and arancini balls. The next course was a selection of breads, meats, pickles and cheese. For the main course 3 of us had the Bistecca – a 200g Prime Steer Rib eye with veg which was cooked to perfection, 3 people had the Gnocchi Graten – a potato and spinach gnocchi with a tomato and basil sauce which was a generous amount served piping hot, 3 people had the Fettucine Soprano – fettucine with a blue cheese sauce and tender pieces of chicken, and 1 person had the Porchetta – a rolled and roasted pork belly served with mashed potatoes and braised cabbage. Dessert of Tiramisu Classico or a rum infused Panna Cotta was ordered by all but one who had the Kapiti Brie cheese board. We all had an enjoyable evening and were served by the lovely Aimee who was attentive and helpful. Sopranos in Kapiti is not a place to be missed.
110% Recommend this restaurant! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Always meant to go but never did until now – I’ve been missing out!
