Cool little cafe in Raumati South, 5 minute walk from where we are staying so though we would check it out. Big breakfast was nice a filling, nothing special. My friends had the Philly steak sandwich which was unfortunately a bit soggy. Service was okay. Coffee was nice and strong!
Love the quirky alternative atmosphere here (like carpet on the ceiling and not the floor). Great live music at weekends. Friendly staff (miss Melissa though now she’s gone off travelling). The Russian is a great meal – had it every time I have been here. Great local café.
Great coffee and always have their Russian with pastrami breakfast. Pretty hard to beat for brunch in the northern parts of Wellington. 🙂 🙂
Cute little cafe and bar on the Kapiti Coast with Wellington vibes, tasty and healthy food options and a really good selection of beers and wine
We could tell all the food ingredients were fresh and high quality. The breakfast menu was limited, and the portion sizes were very small, so not very good value for money. Although the dishes were all well executed, it turned out to be a very expensive brunch.
Fluffy Review #2: Quality. Served classically – two marshmellows and a demitasse cup. Faultless really, presentation was nice, perhaps a little uncreative. Would have scored 4.5, but it was $2, which we consider too much for a fluffy. Chill atmosphere was a nice accompaniment to the beverage. 3.5/5
A new favourite. I had the pulled-pork sandwich with fries which was delicious. The blend of flavours in the sandwich was perfect, while the fries were crisp and sufficiently salty. Aside from the food, the atmosphere and service were exceptional. A genuine exemplification of the oft misused ‘hidden treasure’ cliche.
