Used to like this place first time I went was amazing every time Iv gone back Iv had a bad experience. Young lady behind counter never listens to my order no matter how many times I repeat it. Musics always to loud so I have to yell to place my order and then i see my food sitting there going cold after waiting half n hour. The store is so small an stock is taking the whole place up no one can even comfortably wait for an order or get in to place one. Probably will never go back
This place is amazing! Food is always incredible. We have waited only once for a while for our food because they get busy as they are GOOD. Lovely staff too. We come here often, no complaints!
So disappointed, Everytime we get fish it’s never that great however tonight was especially bad. The fish stunk as soon as we pulled it out of the bag, the fish was disgusting. We couldnt even let our daughter eat it. We could see it was black through the batter and once we cut into it we saw it was black throughout with only speckles of white flesh, no wonder it smelt so bad. I previously didn’t mind spending more than other fish shops for the quality but now I don’t see the point. What a rip off!
I had previously rated these guys 5. They were amazing! But after tonight’s experience I doubt I’ll go back. My order sat there bagged up for 15 minutes while they cooked the chicken they’d forgotten. Which was not the nice honey/chilli/mint marinated breast chicken but sinewy thigh and about half the normal amount! Soooo disappointed!!!! :'(
Good old NZ fish and chips just a little more glamorous. The crumbed fish was fresh and tasted great, and love the menu selection – more than one type of chips to choose from!
