The food is very very bad I just had butter chicken and it was literally like eating a dessert. The Indian food in auckland is much better and also the price they charge at this restaurant is too much I wouldn’t even pay $2 for this curry. Don’t bother with this
We’ve eaten and had takeaways from Bansuri many times. Food used to be okay, often bland, but seems better the last few times we’ve been. More flavour and spices. Have they got a new chef? The restaurant is clean and well-decorated in modern furnishings. Friendly service.
Tried their lunch takeaway. There food was below substandard. Curry was sweet. Rice and naan were stale (looked like they served leftover naan and rice from previous day).
Disgusting!! Went there twice, both times terrible and it went in bin. Won’t be going ever again. Bland and has a horrible weird taste to the curry that I just can’t figure out what it is!!!!
Thanks for your excellent service and food last Saturday evening. Hard to impress a large group, so well done. There was plenty of food and a good variety, probably should have chosen a vege curry but other than that no complaints. We will be back.
I really like Bansuri. Every time i go there its always so tasty and the staff is always very friendly. They definitely deserve 5 stars from me as i have never had a bad meal or service and will continue to keep going
