We dined here recently. Most of the food was fabulous. What didn’t rate as fabulous was still very nice. The hosts and staff are all very lovely and do everything they can to ensure you have a lovely time.
We got married here last month and are really glad we chose the Tin Hut.Lisa and Matt made everything very easy for us, and went out of their way to help.We had several chefs on our guestlist, and are chefs ourselves and everyone commented on how good the food was, every meal was prepared perfectly.Garden was gorgeous, but so was the rest of the place.Thank you so much for everything you did, we can’t wait to come back, awesome job!
We had a terrible experience at the Tin Hut. Service was very slow. We had a coupon for a 2-1 roast meal (the only roast meal listed on the menu was the weekly 3 course roast meal so we assumed it was that), our meal would have been cheaper had we not use the coupon! When we pointed this out to the owner he was incredible rude. Dessert was inedible – it was soggy microwave apple slice. I would never go back to the Tin Hut again.
Brilliant – what a fabulous country pub – I would rate it as excellent in every respect – service outstanding, food glorious and setting perfect. The friendly goslings were a little delight – running around and not on the plate!! All in all, what an asset to the area.
