It was truly terrible. We made a booking for 2pm on Easter Sunday . We received our first drinks at 2:30 . We ordered just after being seated drinks and food.We were 2 adults and 2 kids. We had entrees that came out at 245.The entree was not cleared, so it seemed they forgot us. For an hour no one had been to our table, to apologise or offer more drinks. My kids meals did not come with the entree as is normal practice . I finally got my waitress attention and she dissed me with a wave saying it won’t be long. We finally got our meals at 3:40.My kids were starving . The table that arrived at 2:15 had been fully served and had desert.I complained when the food arrived as they did not offer an apology. They returned 5 minutes later and said they would take off 2 glasses of wine. Now we were fairly understanding, but what made it worse was they avoided our table as it got too embarrassing. Mr Coney and staff seemed more concerned with serving one table of 8 overly intoxicated patrons , who were gushing with praise for the obvious great attention they received.I think this is typical of vineyard restaurants that stretch themselves too far and can really only handle 4 to 6 tables max. Any more and it exposes their amateur nature of thee service.Sorry Mr Coney but this was the worst dining experience in recent memory.A local favourite maybe, but I won’t be returning and will telling all visitors to give it a wide berth.RegardsFamily of four
