Why go to a mediocre Chinese restaurant when you can get great quality Chinese takeaways here?Unless you go to a quality Chinese restaurant, the food purchased from Fu Wing Chinese takeaways will be better than the restaurant’s. No complaints here at all; just a great establishment with a good family serving their recipes for the public.
When my whanau feel like Chinese meal, we go here even though we live in Wainuiomata. We have had their fried rice, lemon fish, egg foo young, sweet and sour and loved them all. We have also tried their fish, burgers, and chips and equally love these also. I think if you are close by Stokes Valley give them a try.
We started with the Chicken and corn soup. A great flavour let down by poor quality chicken pieces. Main’s Chicken Chow Mein – Flavourless and boring with the same poor quality chicken as that of the soup. Pork Fried Rice – Nothing special just tasted of Soy sauce. Nasi Georing – Tasted & looked exactly the same meal as the pork fried rice. A very disappointing meal for $42.00. We won’t be going again.
great takeaway food. reasonable prices and great food. Excellent chinese food and fish and chips. Never had bad food from there and never experienced chips from old potatoes unlike other shops. Always busy on thursday and friday with good reason
