Having moved into the area less than a year ago, it’s only right to test out a few local take aways. We have found some duds but have come to realise we can rely on Souvlaki to provide a delicious meal each night we’re too lazy to cook. I find the menu difficult to know what I’m going to get.. and even though I love what I get to eat, I am not sure what it was called to order it again. But i don’t let that stop me. The salads are always fresh, the sauces flavoursome, and the food hot and delicious. We love the friendliness and patience from the family at Souvlaki, as they speak kindly and respectfully on the phone every single time. I highly recommend any meal with beefteki and the homemade pita. Yum yum yum! Everything is yum! The price is high, but you get what you pay for. Thanks Souvlaki ♥️
My brother loves this place so I had been meaning to try it out. Our first experience, I had the chicken souvlaki & my partner had the mince. Mine was perfect and his was dry. We went back the next night and we both ordered the same, chicken, my partner enjoyed it but I was over it by then. Great bread!
Spectacular as always, Lisa and the crew really know how to put on an authentic, delicious feast. Delicious, thick pita, tasty meat and vegetables, all fresh, and the chips are some of the best in Wellington.
Popped in on a Thursday night after work and it was humming. After inhaling my chicken souvlaki and yeero in the car I can see why. Found myself in the area the following night after work(again)and couldn’t resist. Delicious!
Friendly staff.. delicious food. Well definitely be back these guys are just AWESOME.This pita bread is known in Wellington to be THE best because it’s home made daily (their reviews on Facebook and here actually made me come here in the first place) do not regret It!!! Hurry up and open more stores place you have a winning thing Here!!!
The boneless chicken fillet is amazing!!! It’s like KFC but sooo much better!! Also the homemade corn fritters are the best I’ve ever tried!!!
