Stumbled upon this place late at night around 10ish on a Monday and all other places were closed and but thankfully they were still open although they mention they were closing in 15min which was fine since I was taking it away.Order the mix kebab combo, not bad for $16.50 could be cheaper but I’ll take what I can get.Kebab was good and juicy, and still warm once I got home, but it was the fries that really did itZ Being a person that loves fries this one hit the spot.Would definitely come back.
Pretty small kebabs even for large they are pretty small i mean its not hard pack it full of veges and kebab meat is all the cheap meat why skimp out larfe is 11$ and i had to go home and eat a big bowl of ceral to get full disapointed I wont be back to this place i think they make most of their profit when they finsh at 4am and make skimpy little kebabs for drunksIf you want to repersent your culture may not want to rip off ya customers
First time being here, was served by a young man and girl. They were very polite and welcoming. I ordered the mix Iskender and a ginger beer, and I have to admit I have a regular kebab store I go to but I decided to venture out and try someplace new. The shop was bright and cosy and the food was outstanding and could admit that this iskender could beat the other I normal would go to. Although the hot chilli was a little too hot for, I know now to ask for either just a little or the sweat. Overall it was a good experience
I’ve been coming here for many years and the staff have always been amazing. Especially the big boss. I’ve tried many things on the menu but my favourite has to be the kebab, juice tender meat, fresh salad and they also have the option of super hot chilli which many people don’t offer so this was amazing and when you add jalapeño to it even better. I’ve tried many place but this one always stands out
Staff are openly homophobic, would avoid, unless you are also homophobic in which case these guys will be right up your alley. Been here on 3 occasions, each time the short, older, balding chubby guy who works on a Saturday has been difficult about our orders on various degrees, including tonight refusing our order and to even make eye contact. Terrible service aside, their chicken is as dry as ash.
Second day of a workshop, we headed out for lunch. My friend suggested kebabs. Why not! – Never been to Babylon Kebab before and I do love a good kebab, so it was a good idea for something quick, easy and tasty.I ordered a small chicken kebab, got everything on it. Plenty goes in it and it was a satisfying amount. $9.00.You get 2 choice of sauces, I was hoping for 3 as other places offer it but that is my only (minor) critique, based on preference only.I asked for the super-hot chili. It was punchy but not overly spicy as the name suggested – which was perfect for me.It was tasty; soft bread, fresh salad, good amount of chicken and nice flavours. The guy serving was really friendly, he said goodbye to everyone as they left, nice touch.
The kebabs are always fresh. I eat here because I know the owners made good kebabs from the days when they owned Baghdad house in Newtown.Big TV screen and the latest news papers. The toilets are new and always spotless
