We went with my dad while visiting Wellington. Food is ok for a pub and prices are affordable. Great selection of beers. Definitely returning next time in Welly.

Nice place to chill with friends after work, nice options for both food and beverages. I just love the curly fries. The ambience is pub like. But you can enjoy a nice meal if you just want to eat.

Awesome experience at the probably best pub in Wellington. The german bartender was very friendly. Offered recommendations and helped me & my partner to choose our tasting beer. The beer tasted great! Wasn’t a good drinker but I personally like the long wheat cloud, light with hint of Bananas. All the beers are brewed on-site, plus you get to enjoy the light jazz music in the background. Recommended if you are in Wellington!

One of the best burgers I’ve had so far in Wellington and their beers aren’t bad either. We also tried their deep fried pickles which were pretty good and their beer donuts were super yum!

As a non drinker this place seemed a bit pointless considering it’s renowned for the craft beer, but thankfully they cater for us non-alcoholics and their food is pretty good too! It can take some time to come out so be warned. Chicken waffles were good, but not the best I’ve eaten (Orleans has that trophy).

Came here last night with my boyfriend and let me just say this place does the BEST FRIED CHICKEN WINGS ever. Best tasting ones I’ve had to date. We also ordered the chorizo pizza and the sirloin steak. The sirloin steak was alright, it came with too much pepper. However, the chorizo pizza was quite nice! Overall, I loved my experience here and I would fly back to Wellington just to have those wings again – definitely a must try!

This place is different and well worth a visit, especially if you like beer. The food is alright, you get what you pay for. The puddings are tasty! The beer doughnuts were gooey and I loved the stout flavour coming through, much like a Guiness chocolate cake. I like that you can get $3 Mac n cheese as a side, but it needs more cheese (but I do say that a lot). Our waitress was a bit weird but pleasant and attentive.
