Good gelato. Stiff competition from Kaffee Eis who has stores all over central Wellington. Love how they got into the lights festival and made glow in the dark icecream! Would be great to hold more events like this to set them apart. Otherwise good not amazing flavour
Amazing Gelato went there last week with my friend there’s so many flavors to chose from I also when when wellington had there light show on the waterfront and they had glow in the dark Gelato crazy but so cool such a good place to stop never disappoints
Visited here this afternoon in between queueing for treats at the Noodle market. 5 of us picked different flavours and no one was disappointed, I had the mint choc chip and enjoyed it. A good success rate if you ask me. Will definitely return and probably quite a lot when summer rolls around again.
It’s a bit of a tradition with my team at work to celebrate our milestones and achievements with a trip to Gelissimo.Great variety of standard and interesting mixes / flavours (eg: Cucumber!). I find them quite filling and rich but very tasty. I tend to get one scoop only. That’s enough for me.I’ve tried several varieties and they have all been very tasty. Recommended.
Such good gelato and sorbet! Really thick and flavourful – varied flavours and mostly all interesting but generic likability. Nice indoor area with bean bags and nice staff. Good place – cheapest gelato for size in Wellington too!
Kids and I always make this a stop when we go into the city for the day. Their ice cream flavors do vary, and sometimes you may not get what you ordered last time you went. But we have always enjoyed the flavors (and you can request to try before you get a scoop). They also do coffees.
