The staff were really rude. Have been to this place a few times and it’s the same every time. Will never go back as service is very poor. Should have learnt my lesson the first time. Don’t go there is my advice.
Really cool vibe tucked away in the city!! Love the decor and atmosphere, feels casual without being cheap. Pizzas were timely (about 20 min on a busy evening) so can’t complain and tasted exactly how a neopolitan should! Awesome selection of beers and well worth it pizzas! Will be making this a regular spot.
This place is always packed. Great that you can order pizza from Pomodoro across the road and have it there. Love the lighting. Great atmosphere and lovely bar staff
Golding’s is RAD! Once I had an epic scrabble battle over beer, and another time we got smashed and stuffed our faces with pomdoros pizza. Everytime I go the vibe is just the bees knees. Starwars fans will love the quirky memorabilia, and others that just love a good drop will enjoy the selection available. The atmosphere is always buzzing.
I’ve been to Goldings a few times. It’s been a few months since my last visit. Last night I met some friends there. Goldings is a cool bar. Typical Wellington style with an eclectic mix of decor. I particularly like the large Star Wars vehicles (X-Wing and Millennium Falcon on the wall).Good selection of craft beers. It’s a relaxed bar with an equally eclectic mix of ages and people. I like it.I had a few beers and ordered a pizza. $15.50 for a large margherita. It was a good, fresh and hot straight out the oven. Enjoyable.Great spot. I’ll be back.
If I lived in Wellington this would quickly become a favourite. I’ve tried a few delicious pizzas here (Paesana is my favourite) and they have a wide variety of tasty beers on tap, including craft dark beers which often seem hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommended a visit.
Second time there. Good beer on tap, nice star wars theme ! Pizza were yum and big !! The staff is very friendly and funny and the crowd there is old enough to behave and be respectful which is always a plus. They even have an outside space with a few tables. Quite chilled there, would go again !..
