Worst ‘Thai’ food I’ve ever had. Only good thing are the portion sizes, especially for its price. I ordered fried rice and pad Thai- both were so bland and tasteless- did not taste like Thai food at all. The fried rice I ordered came with chicken and a fried egg. The friend egg was no where to be found and there was barely any chicken in my meal. Very disappointing place.
Honestly quite bad. The Pad Thai was made with egg noodles for some reason? It had pretty much zero flavour other than too much sweetness and bland spiciness from chilli flakes. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
Great value for your money. The portion sizes are really decent for the money you pay ($10 to $11) for an entree, and the food is really yum. You can’t go wrong with the green/red curries here or the cashew chicken. In addition, the chefs are very friendly and lovely. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick and low budget meal in downtown Wellington.
This is like a place u will find on the side of the st in Bangkok. It’s very cheap the only thing I was not a big fan of was the amount of rice to compare to meat or veggies. My tofu and veggies had a lot of oil, Num tuk was ok just not enough pork,
I knew I could expect something glamorous from capital market but an order from this Thai place was particularly disappointing. I ordered a Thai basil chicken on rice but there was no basil at all. Except the super hot taste (even for an experienced chilli eater like myself) I couldn’t taste anything else. The portion was fairy small too. Very disappointing.
Tried their chicken cashew nut which was nice and the chef was absolutely lovely! My meal was ready quickly too which I was happy about. Worth a shot.
I really like this food court. It’s developed further with more eateries since my last visit. Haven’t had Thai in a while so I was drawn to Good Taste. They have all the usual Thai fare. I chose a chicken pad thai ($9.90). Pad thai is a staple Thai dish. It’s a simple dish, but western versions are often a little under par.It took a little longer to cook that I expected but it wasn’t an issue. The portion was big and ingredients fresh. It had all the accompaniments, such as lemon wedge, crushed peanuts and chilli flakes. It was tasty, but just didn’t quite hit the mark.
