Great service. Friendly and helpful staff. I typically go after 3:30pm when they have half price sushi. Bento bowls are $7-8 and regular sushi is $6 for 7 or 8 pieces. The sushi is very good, especially the chicken katsu skewers, chicken bento and salmon sushi rolls. Very delicious and good quality sushi made by a Japanese chef.Me and my co-workers go here regularly and are never disappointed. Highly recommended.
Great place to taste Japanese food, people always friendly, often go there to have lunch and sometimes for dinner (if too lazy to cook), thanks Hey Sushi, like it!
Nice little find in Wellington, not the best selection of sushi but the taste of the good ones with some soy sauce is fantastic. Would return to Hey Sushi and reccomend to anyone wanting some delicious sushi in Wellington.
Prices are very reasonable here at Hey sushi and the guy behind the counter was very chirpy! Sushi is middle of the range, but it was quick and convenient.
Great selection of the usual suspects you’d find at a sushi shop. Fresh and tasty, takeaway available along with sitting down. I particularly like the chicken katsu on a generous bed of rice
Always keen to try a new sushi place. Hey Sushi looked like a good find down the corridor between Willis and Victoria Street. Great decor, friendly staff and intricate sushi pieces. Prices were a little higher than other places but nothing major. They do a loyalty card, but it’s a stamp for every $10 you spend, which again, is higher than some other places (stamp for every $5). I decided to dine in.Unfortunately the sushi wasn’t the best for my taste. The mayo ones had a little too much mayo and the prawn piece was quite watery. It was OK but I wouldn’t rush back.
Had a range of sushi and the beef noodle soup. Both were nice and the sushi was well presented. Wasabi has some kick which is nice! Staff were friendly and helpful which made for an overall pleasant experience.
