Wednesday 241 burgers, free pool, $5 handles. Cheap and easy get together. The burgers used to be incredible especially for being only $7 but seems to have gone downhill recently. Had the chicken, bacon, avo tonight – not too great. Pork belly the first time I had it 2 years ago was incredible. Give it a shot , can’t go wrong for $7-8.

Always come here to watch the rugby. Good to come early if youre after a table on those nights. Standard pub grub but at least the wait for food isnt immense

I like the Bristol for a very affordable jug of beer in the sun, sitting outside watching Cuba St. Their food specials are very reasonable priced, and the food is staple pub grub. The wine selection is good and the price range of wines is very reasonable. This place isn’t fancy and that’s what I like about it. I’ve been here tonnes and had many good times with my husband having a few drinks, and many random fun chats with complete strangers and staff alike. It’s all good!

Popped in two weeks ago for a quick retreat when I was in town for work. Well situated along Cuba there and you can’t expect Michelin food so I can say the bangers and mash was damn good. Actually for the cost of beverages you can never expect to go into the night cheaply in town but for less than ten dollars for a large jug of whatever I can happily say it was well worth ducking in for.

Came here for the 2 for 1 burger night on a Wednesday – highly recommend as it was quick and a great portion! I had the beef burger with avocado – was impressed with the amount of avocado given, however the beef patty did seem pretty cheapy/processed. Would go for chicken next time!
