Such a nice restaurant. Child friendly which is great, love the chicken breast. Overall made my night. Definitely coming back here very soon.
Read the reviews, saw that it was a short distance from my hotel so thought I should give it a go.Sat down, watched waitress play with till, avoiding customers eyes etc and then waited and waited and waited. I gave up waiting and left as I had a meeting.I should also mention that it was not busy so I am afraid I can only give Joe’s Garage one star for poor service. I can’t comment on the food and it is unlikely that I will be back.
Awesome environment for everyone, but would imagine men would feel the most relaxed. Keeps to its theme very well, except awesome service, good value for money and very clean. Had a savoury scone, came piping hot, well cooked and generous size. Beautiful deep flavours, that left you wanting more. Only critic would be music could be turned down a little.
My family and I had dinner here tonight Kumara Chips & pork belly skewers entrees which were excellent. Beef burger, 2 Caesar chicken salads and I had the salmon. Food was perfect service amazing looking forward to our next visit.
We had pancakes, raspberry and whipped cream as well as bacon and banana. It was very delicious and fresh. I also had a hot chocolate. It came with a chocolate fish.
Great ambiance. Good and tasty food. Nice staff. I had the lamb burger, and the brownie with ice cream for dessert. Both were excellent. Good presentation. Great location.
Lunch with my two fav girls (daughter and niece) Fries and Gravy are always a favourite The burgers were a little bland a very small sliver of chicken, considering the price was disappointing One suggestion I would make to the wait staff is not to assume a youth would want to order from the kids menu If in doubt askAlso a pity they don’t do pizza like the Christchurch restaurant.
