Came to meet fresh for some afternoon desserts. We were the only table at the store so we had our food quite quickly after we ordered. The size and proportion was quite small compared to what we had in Auckland and the service was just fine.
My friend and I decided to have a refreshing and light dessert after dinner. The tofu pudding with boba is smooth and silky however the palm sugar syrup was a bit weak and tasteless perhaps it was submerged with too much liquid or just not enough syrup. The matcha with boba and red beans was okay but after 3-5 sips again the flavour was not that strong as well. However for overall experience I still enjoyed this place. If you are out and about late at night, this would be a great place to hang out.
Came here this evening. Ordered the tofu soup with peanuts. Not overly sweet which was nice. Fairly clean but not much atmosphere. Its a cheap and cheerful but could have more warmth. Quite sterile. Probably would get the tofu far somewhere else as quite expensive at $8.50.
I love this place! The place is amazing, not so crowded (at least when I came on Friday) and the service was also amazing, the girl knows about the menu very well, so I didn’t waste too much time on figuring out the best dessert for me. I got the red bean with vanilla ice something, I don’t know the real name, and I loved it! The only problem is the music, because I didn’t hear any happy music or any music suitable for summer-vibe. Other than that, I really recommended this place.
Currently our favorite dessert place for the bingsu (very fine shaved ice dessert korean style). We only come for the desserts and bubble teas. All asian style– green tea ice cream, tofu puddings different flavors, crystal jelly, grass jelly, boba, bubble tea, mochi, egg pudding (yum!). They have dessert waffles too, served with asian desserts instead of the usual maple syrup. I would have rated a 5 but prices are a tad high. All tables taken save one when we came, but no issues with order length. (our pic has waffles with green tea ice cream and sweet red bean paste side, shaved ice with boba and egg pudding.
If you want to wait 30 mins for take away for the simplest item on the menu, you’ve found it. While I waited 30 mins for my take away, 2 customers asked for their money back due to the long wait. Many customers who ordered before me all approached the counter asking about their orders. WTF.
