Reasonably priced, fresh tasting and vibrant flavours. The lemongrass pork is a winner. If you’re heading up the cable car to spend some time at the botanical gardens, this is the place to go. Grab a banh mi or two and some rice paper rolls to go, and enjoy the fresh flavours from the best view in town.

I’ve walked past Nam D a number of times, and been keen to give it a try. Nam D ‘shop’ is a really cool design. Like a mini shipping container in vibrant green.I ordered a pre made salads. The poached chicken salad. ($10.00)It was good. Fresh flavours. Good portion with a good amount of chicken. The sauce wasn’t overpowering. I like the Nam Prik to be really punchy, btu for this dish it suited being milder.Very enjoyable.

Great flavours here! I had the five spice beef banh mi as they’d run out of the classic. The meat was tender and the five spice flavour really came through. Homemade butter and pate gave the banh mi a nice touch. The bread was a bit harder than usual but I think it was largely due to the winds I was faced with while trying to eat on the go. Good proportion of daikon/carrot too. Would come again for the classic!
