Have now had the Jerk Chicken burger and the WOAP Mark 2.0 . Both awesome burgers, and the waffle fries are delicious. Awesome guy too. Expect to wait a little while for your burger, that’s because they’re always so busy.Best burgers in Wellington in my opinion

Tried Nanny’s Jamaican jerk chicken burger at the recent One Love Festival in Tauranga. What a shame these guys aren’t in Auckland. They’d fit in perfectly at The Street Food Collective, Silo Park markets, Food Space or Food Station etc.The burger was deliciously moist and flavoursome and the couple behind Nanny’s were friendly and provided great service. Hoping to see these guys around when I head down to Wellington next month. I missed out on their goat curry at One Love, so I’d be keen to try it out, along with a delicious jerk chicken burger, of course!
Wow.. move over Ekim Burgers, here comes Nanny’s – the best burgers in Wellington! and value for money!If anyone is looking for a tasty burger, then look no further. They are generally parked up at Frank Kitts park Tuesday to Thursday lunch times.The only downside to this place is the wait. You could potentially wait up to 20 minutes, but I promise you the wait is worth while.I would definitely recommend their beef burger served in a nice fresh, soft milk bun. The Nanna’s food truck was outside work which made for a convenient choice for lunch.Lots of people from the surrounding offices were queuing but I didn’t have to wait too long. The guy serving (owner?) did a good job keeping on top of the orders.I ordered the crispy chicken po’ boy. It was delicious. Soft bun, crisp slaw and mayo. The chicken was in a nice coating. A good amount of chicken too.A satisfying lunch.
