  • It used to be a good place for its spicy noodles or rice dishes, and I was going there a couple times a week for lunch. I previously gave it 3.5 stars…

  • Don’t be deceived by the red chilli oil! Not authentic Chinese spice level. I usually have baby mild in China but in here I order hot and it still not…

Tried for the first time at Capital Market and was very surprised at how delicious the Spicy Squid soup was – def recommend this on a cold Wellington day/night to warm you up.

When its cold and I want a spicy soup hit this is my go to. I recommend the hot n spicy dumplings and wontons, and the vegetable noodle soup (no meat but still comes in chicken broth). Always medium spice. I prefer rice noodles to egg so glad they give you options. If you enjoy the flavours of sezchuan peppercorns and like the oddity of its numbing spice give it a try! I tried it once, the numbness didn’t bother me, but the flavor just wasn’t a match. Definitely interesting though!!!

THE BURNING MAN!!! Tried it on recommendation from another patron. This place is tucked into the corner of capital market at the meow end. Great flavour, good amount of spice. Wasn’t overwhelmed but still tasty and good value for $11 a bowl.

The food was so good from this place. We ordered a dumplings in Sichuan sauce and a squid rice noodle soup both Hot to shared. They were absolutely amazing! The spicy and numb taste exactly the same as China. Good portions for this price. Friendly staff and clean nice kitchen. Would highly recommend this place.

Food is ok, but the portions are quite poor for the price, maybe I went the wrong day? No idea. The place looks clean and friendly people.
