Came to Red Mount for my friends birthday a while ago. Red mount is BYO so we all had drinks. We all ordered and it took over an hour and a half before we got our food. They also confused our booking with someone else’s and took a long time before we were served. One of the guys in our group finished his drinks before the food got to us and ended up vomiting outside. The owner stormed over to us and said he was really annoyed. I said ‘ I’m sorry but maybe if he hadn’t had to wait so long for our food this wouldn’t have happened’. He was very rude and also accused our group of vomiting in both the male and female bathrooms as well as outside which we definitely did not do. The vomit on the floor was not cleaned up properly for the whole time it was there which was very unpleasant. When the food came out it was good, a little bland but over all fine. When we finally went to pay my friends mum explained everything to the owner and he did end up giving the meal on the house which was great. But just disappointing anyway, and was disappointing for my friend on her birthday. All and all staff were great, food was fine but it was unfortunately not a great experience.

A good portion of meat and veg and was cooked very well. Lamb was very chewy but not tough at all. 4/5Singapore style curry fried rice noodles: decent friend noodles with well done flavour. Not something I normally pick to eat but didn’t disappoint. 3.5/5Double cooked pork belly in casserole pot: damn i was supposed to get roast pork but oh well-flavour was really well done not too salty but salty enough! Good range of veg and the pork slices were a very good size. A greater portion size for the price would’ve made it better. 4/5Overall good meal, your average Chinese restaurant, price was average $$ for the quantity and quality, but would try out all the other places welly has to offer!
Amazing! Came here for a friend’s surprise birthday dinner a few weeks ago and I loved it! The food is amazing and is high in quality and quantity, especially for the price. The karaoke was so much fun! Definitely recommend
Had lunch here – Staff were nice. had black bean chicken on rice, deep fried squid tentacles & pork fried rice – portions were excellent and more that enough for 2 people to share. Has an extensive menu & drink options. Prices are fantastic – especially at lunch. Definitely recommend this pl will be back to try out some yum cha dishes.
We were a bit disappointed that the duck and seafood dishes were not available as part of a deal. The positive is that there is plenty of other dishes to choose from. The dishes are very large so it’s best that you come with an empty stomach. The food was adequate however we found one dish (the stir fried shredded pork with egg, cucumber and black fungus) was a bit salty. We also found that this dish had too way too many pork and not enough cucumber and black fungus. This is good for all the meat lovers. The service was good and friendly and our food came out promptly. The staff even allowed us to finish our entree before they bought out the main meals.We would come back and try the other large variety of dishes.
Pretty cool place here. It is a BYO with some pretty good food, it was quite busy on a Friday night and the food took quite a while to come out and because we had a decent size group a dish came out every like 2 minutes so no one ate at the same time. Karaoke came on a bit later which was cool too
