Went in for dinner and it was very busy but we were looked after very well by the staff. Food was great. We tasted quite a lot of the menu as we shared the plates. The prices are relatively high but the quality is good. Great place to go.

Overpriced – the dishes are really quite small and it is not cheap here – but every dish we ordered was both unusual and really delicious. Would go back, was a great dining experience.

Popped in last night for a snack and drink. I hadn’t heard great feedback about this place but was keen to give it a go. I must say the service was really good and the bar snacks we had were enjoyable. Can’t rate higher due to limited selection of what we eat and the fullMenu didn’t really appeal that much to me.However the crispy oyster with kimchi tasted excellent as did the duck fat potatoes.Atmosphere perfect for a quick drink and a chat which is just what we needed! Thanks

amazing food, truly a fantastic experience. took a sad friend out for dinner on Sunday, and we were sat on the bar – we saw all the food being made (by total babe chefs). the wee toasts were interesting, the pork was incredible, and my rye doughnut with sour cream was innovative and inspiring. will definitely be back.

Without a doubt among the best places to go to in Wellington. Talented staff across the board, with Shephard himself leading in the kitchen. Highly recommend. If you want to order one plate of food all for yourself for your meal, don’t come here. But this is a dining experience where you get what you pay for.

We had high expectations of this place – and in many ways they were met. Great service, flexible and friendly, and a fantastic atmosphere, and great looking menu. Aside from the pancake starters though – everything tasted bland – as if it just needed a dash more seasoning. A lot of thought and effort had clearly gone in to the dishes so we found the lack of flavour quite surprising. Would go back to give it another go as our friends went the next evening and loved there food.
