If your looking for an adorable botique coffee shop this is the place for you. As soon as you step in you can feel the love that goes into the craft of making a good cup of coffee from the smell of fresh roasted coffee from Peoples Coffee to the smiles and laughs youll share with the staff and to top it all off its a Social enterprise with the goal of getting high school aged youth, who are passionate about coffee, into their first job.

Wellington’s first ever container cafe is impressing not only Cuba Street frequenters but city visitors like myself. Initially set up by a youth organisation to provide hands-on hospitality experience, Stories Cafe has built up a strong reputation for delivering rich flavoured coffee and excellent customer service. It’s a hard one to miss as you walk down Cuba Street. From the bright patterns to the fact that it’s a massive container in the middle of the street, it’s a head turner to say the least. Stories Cafe brews Red Rabbit coffee, a favourite coffee brand it seems down in Wellington. Both Georgia Hudson and Kirk Hodgson behind the coffee machine were super friendly and after receiving some local advice on of their favourite coffee spots close by i was off. This coffee spot is one I’ll keep in mind and one I’ll recommend you trying out if you ever find yourself in Wellington. twodarkcoffees.com
