I was attracted to the menu and rave reviews, but sadly my experience was disappointing. The wrong dish was served up, after a reasonably long wait. When my breakfast burger eventually came, I couldn’t finish it due to the brioche bun being far too dry and dense. Service was friendly and other dishes looked the goods. If I were to return, it would be earlier in the day to avoid delays and I would opt for a big breakfast.

Went looking for a good cafe for breakfast over the holidays and saw this place that takes their coffee seriously.Went for the bacon butty which was ok and a wierd flex from garage project which was very good. Now the real star the polenta fries. Its a hell of a portion but man was it great. Don’t see them often so i tend to go for them and they nailed them big time. It was very busy but the staff did a fantastic job managing

I was with my hubby in Wellington for the long weekend. Found this gem when we were looking for a place for brunch. We loved it – great service, staffs are so attentive and laid-back, awesome coffee – I ordered coffee martini on day 1 and Coffee 3 ways the following day, delicious food – their brisket benny is my fav. Will definitely go back again when we go to Wellington next time.

They serve delicious and aromatic coffees. They use top quality beans which really puts a stark contrast against your average coffee shop. Their service is also very good with friendly and helpful staff. Lastly, they have very nice ambience, quite different from your other cafes.
