The Chimney Cakes are to die for – I had tried these on Saturday at cuba-dupa and had to go back to the stall to buy more I also came back on Sunday just to buy more chimney cakes. My fav is the Cinnamon one, the price is reasonable the flavour is unbelievable and the people who served me were friendly and moved really quick to fulfill the high demands. Thanks team,

I’ve tried these a couple of times before and always enjoyed them but forgot to leave a review. So seeing as I travelled all the way into Wellington just for their chimney cakes I thought I might as well give them a glowing review. I ordered a sour cream and cheese langosh with spring onions. Which is a lovely pastry (a bit like pizza but sweeter) with your choice of toppings. It was about $8 I think. And I also ordered 2 full chimney cakes, one vanilla and one plum. You can order halves though but I like to save the second for the next day. They are $10 each for full ones, but really worth it. They are so delicious and made to order, so freshly made, and still warm. Hmmm yum. Sorry about the pics I had a nibble of the langosh and half ate the plum chimney cake. (Too good not to) LolThey are always happy and friendly people

I intended to get lunch from The Greek Food Truck, but on arrival it wasn’t there. Instead the Chimney Cakes / Hungarian sausage van was. All good, I’d been meaning to try it.Never tried this before so wasn’t sure what to order. However, it isn’t that difficult to choose as there isn’t a massive variety. It’s basically the same thing – a sausage in some fried bread – it just differs depending on the toppings. The woman who served me was very friendly and chatty, which was nice.I went all out and got all the toppings. Cheese, sour cream, spring onion and kransky with salty garlic. ($8.50)I wasn’t sure what to expect as I watched the dough and kransky being deep fried – it did cross my mind that I may have made a mistake. I didn’t want a greasy meal. However, it wasn’t like that at all. The bread was soft yet crisp on the outside. The Kransky was peppery. The other ingredients complimented the bread and sausage. Some ketchup would have gone well with this but I enjoyed it as it was.It was different but a nice change from sushi, kebabs or sandwiches. Very enjoyable.
