Beautiful ambience and decor. Loved that it wasnt too loud or cramped, just a really nice atmosphere. Staff were really polite and friendly and the service was quick. Food was incredible. I got the vegetarian mixed vegetable curry which was slightly spicy for mild but delicious. My boyfriend got the butter chicken which has received poor reviews on here for being slightly sweet but he loved it. The mango lassis were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. A great selection of interesting naan breads which were delicious. Overall cannot fault the experience. Will be returning
Friendliness – told them I had a voucher and they said next time please book a table even though it was a very quiet Sunday night and seats aplenty. Service – We sat down and waited a very long time to order as there was only one person on the floor and he was talking to someone at the counter for a long time. He didn’t offer us to get drinks first but gave us water. Food- There was a bug in the steamed rice.Prawn masala – prawns still had the tails on which is a little messy having to pull them off as they are in a curry. Very sweet dish. The chicken tikka masala was great, garlic naan was great, nil complaints to those. More rice would be appreciated rather than one bowl to share between two peopleCleanliness – There were flies that kept bothering around the table.Would not dine here again sadly. Maybe I’d get take away next time.
Very disappointed with our butter chicken. It wasMore like tomato paste with raw chilli powder on top. Probably the worst butter I’ve ever had sorry to say
Polite staff but had a very bad experience with the food. The quantities were very less and the quality was not good too. Chilli chicken naan was good though but the non vegetarian curries and biryani were not good at all.
Pretty good and tasty curry. I had the butter chicken which was very creamy and also had a side of plain naan which was amazing. Also tried a couple of my friends curries which also tasted excellent!
Wish I had read these reviews before going here. Stumbled across this place and thought I’d give it a go. Ordered butter chicken takeaway and a mango kulfi for dessert. Customer service wasn’t great, was made to feel very unwelcome and not important on arrival. The staff member had more important things to do than serve me. Butter chicken was very tomatoey and so disappointing. The mango kulfi for dessert tasted like it had been in the freezer for a while, and was a lot of icicles. Not a great experience
Me and my friends came here to eat dinner and even after waiting for almost 40mins we were still waiting for our food. What’s worse is that a couple of customers who came after us got served before us. We got up, paid for our drinks and left. The manager did not even apologize.
