This review is based on a drunken hour or two spent propped up at the bar, having my senses piqued by a live band playing diverse, complex and original loud rock’n’roll. Despite being old enough to have fathered pretty much every other patron at Valhalla, I was never made to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. The beers were awesome, the staff were totally on their game yet still a lot of fun, and it turned out to be one of the best chance happenings of the evening!
