My exact reaction to this place was that of a kid let loose in a toy store!! To add to that you are hit with that delicious smell of chocolate as soon as you step inside the door. The chocolate bars have that amazing snap and the toppings are out of this world. The chocolate bars are packed full of flavour without being overly sweet, the packaging is so colourful and the hot chocolate is some of the best I ever had
Great coffees esp hot chocolate however I’d prefer for takeaway not comfy to sit around on those high chairs . Love their quirky wrappers on the house made chocolates
I love this pl – it has a wonderful range of chocolate on offer and they also do a pretty mean Hot Chocolate, which is fab on a cold welly day. The space is pretty chill and a good pl to have a quick chill. Definitely recommend getting a hot choc.
Order a hot chocolate from the front counter. It’s literally hot chocolate -with a dash of almond/coconut milk. Seriously decadent and silky smooth.
First off, I’d like to say I’m a huge chocolate fan with a preference for the 80%+ cocoa.This was a nice discovery for me, dined in for a hot chocolate and took away a few blocks, including Salted Brittle Caramel.Which the nice girl serving us recommended, her credentials were 2 hot chocolates a day, which we couldn’t argue with.
What a cool place. Go Wellington for creating such a funky, inspiring place. Rich hot chocolates well enjoyed, served with gorgeous smiles and infectious laughter made this pace so much cooler. Thanks Maxine
From the bean to the bar Wellington’s Chocolate Factory on Eva Street handcraft their chocolate to perfection. From meeting the farmers and roasting the beans to producing flavoursome organic chocolate – this chocolate factory knows their stuff. For a second I was living Charlie Bucket’s dream from Willy Wonka. The smell of fresh cocoa filled the industrial styled factory as I took in all things chocolate. I was offered my first ever cocoa bean to try and it sure woke up the old taste buds which was just in time for my single origin hot chocolate. Hands down, it made for one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever set lips on. I walked away with my every own Salted Brittle Caramel Chocolate bar – which apparently is their most popular – and a hot chocolate in hand, sweet and creamy and just what you need on a winter’s day!I would highly recommend visiting this place, the staff are great and the chocolate is the greatest!#Challenge Sarah Reynolds twodarkcoffees.com
