arrived to dine in at the lambton restaurant at 1.30 (assuming peak lunch time and lots of people already dining), after ordering and paying we were told we had to leave with our food in takeaway packages so they could close up (it was 1.30???) when given these takeaway meals my friends meal had the noodles and ingredients in separate containers so pretty much had to make his own lunch at home. awkward and quite rude staff in regards to this situation. very let down as we used to always go to the capital market stall and enjoy it.
Not bad, not excellent. The beef was tasty and the broth was peppery, but the beef balls tasted quite strange and the broth had too much sugar for me. I think it would have been super delicious with some more lemon and less sugar. Hits the spot if you want pho though! My friend got the banh mi – he said it was fairly tasty, but very bread heavy and didn’t blow him away.
We ordered fresh rolls and spring rolls with pork, chicken and beef pho. Was a bit salty for me but tasted nice overall. The vietnamese coffee was a big let down since they didnt make it the way it supposed to be.
This place was recommended by a friend and it is hidden in the capital market. For Vietnamese food I always go for pho, it’s classic and if the pho is good then you know they have done it right. The pho they have rare beef, spicy rare beef and marinated rare beef to choose from. The lovely woman told me they sold out of the spicy beef so I went for the marinated beef instead. Honestly it might not look appealing but the soup and the beef taste amazing. It has to be one of the top 3 pho I tried in Welly so far.Give it a go you will love it.
My first time coming here loved the food nice atmosphere staff are very welcoming and are willing to help out with any questions you have. Had the pork spring rolls they are really yummy and had the Pho beaf. would recommend coming here. I will definitely be coming back.
