Spent 20 minutes trying to flag down bar staff after ordering a drink at 3pm on a Wednesday. Ignored at the bar and at a table. Left shortly afterwards.
Went for a quick lunch on a Saturday. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the service was good. The food was excellent, highly recommend the ribs. Reasonable price too for the quality of food. Will be back for certain.
The food is delicious & dependable here! I love the halloumi salad and the salmon with beets! Even the simple green side salad is fresh & delicious! Service is friendly. Weekend brunch is tasty too.
Ive been here several times and not one dish has ever let me down. It has a lovely warm ambience and very friendly and good service. My lamb shank was moist, tender and surprisingly meaty. There is off street parking which helps a lot as the area gets quite busy.
I was very pleased with the whole experience! Food was not incredible but still good.. Dessert on the other hand was unbelievable! I had the date pudding and I would recommend it to everyone! atmosphere was very warm, it had a chill pub vide, it it also felt sophisticated! loved the fireplace!
Great atmosphere amazing food and friendly staff, we had a lovely night out. The outside area was fab, it was raining but the heater was on keeping us warm and the outdoor chairs were comfortable, not to many places left like that for smokers, We will be back, thank you
Just eaten here tonight for my 50th birthday 16/03/19. I booked a table for 11 people. Ordering was easy and quick. But there was a few starters missing. My dinner was delicious. I ordered the fish of the day. My hubby ordered lamb ribs. (See pics) But a couple of family members had a few problems. One meal, steak, was burnt on the outside, raw in the middle and very cold. The waitress offered to microwave it. One family member asked for no tomato on her burger and it came with no bun instead. Just a burger on a plate.We wanted more drinks and some more water for the table and we waited and waited and finally waited at the bar to ask. The staff were super polite just not very attentive.Some family members did get a discount which was good. Overall a few meals were delicious and the atmosphere was very cosy but service let it down a bit. We may be back if reviews pick up.
