Sad to relate but the Waikanae Hotel has been demolished to provide more space for rail commuter car parks.Shame it was a very popular venue for entertainment and refreshment and food.
What a shame this restaurant is closing down. Ten of us had a great meal. The staff were attentive and the chef went out of his way to create a meal that catered for my husband’s multiple allergies. This Waikanae institution will be sadly missed.
We were staying in this hotel so had dinner on the night of our arrival. I had the fish well presented and very tasty expensive tho for the amount you got but I had no real complaints.
We go here lots for lunch take friends as well great place to meet and eat. $10. luncheon menu real good value. Staff friendly service good. Try It for yourself
Great restaraunt, very friendly staff and an excellent meal. Second visit in 4 months and still very good service and relaxing atmosphere
Friendly and welcoming. Delicious food and served quickly. Very popular with the locals and many who call in on the way home from work. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
