Just moved into the area and thought we’d try our local – we got butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and palak paneer. Butter chicken was really lovely and creamy, lamb had lovely large chunks of tender meat and the vege one had some of the nicest tofu I’ve had (I don’t actually like tofu and this was bearable). The garlic naan was soft /chewy and very tasty with a generous amount of garlic on it. The prices were about the same as everywhere else – not cheap but not bad and everything was lovely and hot. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Glad to have curry time in wainui. Chicken tikka was tasty and the garlic naan was also good. Cucumer raita was great. Lady that took our order was friendly and easy to communicate with. I will be returning for sure.
Just rung to see if they do delivery as that’s what’s advertised on a lot of sites a lady had picked up the phone she said no and just hung up straight away was super rude with an attitude so won’t be going here
Today we had a meal for the first time at Curry Time Wainuiomata,we bought chicken Tikka Masala and chicken Korma,this has been the worst Indian food we ever tasted,absolute disgrace to the Indian cuisine,no spice no taste at all , so very disappointing,the garlic naan bread and the rice where ok,also the chicken in the dishes where well cooked but the sauce was absolutely tasteless,it would be so nice to have a nice trustworthy Indian restaurant in Wainuiomata.
This is a nice indian takeaway shop in the nui. I always order Peshawari naan as thats my favourite and they never disappoint me. Curries are average as I’ve had better curries around in Wellington. I keep going back to the place as them being in nui is really convenient. The staff is really nice and very accomodating.
Best Naan Bread, and I have never had a bad meal yet, Channa Masala is my favourite, but they do a mean Korma and Madras, highly recommended, friendly staff, and curry at a great price
