I didn’t want to travel over the Hill for KFC as have been disappointed by their chicken one too many times so decided to try the 9 piece pack shown on the menu above. Called to make the order only to be told there is no 9 piece pack, only a 10 piece is available. For $6-ish dollars more you get an extra piece of chicken. Bit annoying but we got it as it’s still cheaper and closer then other options. Chicken was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of greasy fall out you usually get with fried chicken. Please update the menu shown on this site! Thanks for the great chicken. Will definitely try again some time.

I first gave joes cook a rating of 1. Due to a really bad experience and the food being inedible. But I went there about a month ago and they have totally upped there game. Service was lovely & we got the smorgasbord and it was absolutely piled up, fresh yummy food.
Decent food for the price you pay. Staff are friendly. Good variety of food to choose from too. Discount available via entertainment book which was good
I ordered the chicken curry with roti and i got only 2 pieces of chicken an the rest was potatoe,must be running low on chicken there,combination chop suey was nice hence why there getting a 2.5 rating
Out of all the takeaway restaurants on Queen St this is our favourite. Their prices are very reasonable as is their selection. Their wonton soup is always a go to when feeling under the weather.
