Went here for breakfast based on the pictures on their website and instagram. Was hugely disappointed. What is available in the shop is a sad version of the pictures they advertise online. Items didn`t taste like they were baked fresh on the day and what kind of bakery serves old pastries? Quite expensive and just not good. The danish tasted like something from Pak`n Save.

An OK commercial bakery. A small cafe/bakery with seating for perhaps a dozen, selling good quality bread, cakes, slices and pies. At the commercial end of the artisan scale and not my first stop for bread or cakes. As another reviewer noted the whole cakes are good to buy and bring along for a quick and simple work do. Yesterday’s visit got me the steak and kidney pie which is dense with meat, good flavour and the pastry is ok. An afghan pleasant but not better than that.Coffee – L’affare and inoffensive, well made and the staff are lovely.Overall a good middle of the road bakery/cafe, reasonable coffee and an easy stop to buy standard work-do pastries.
Picked up a carrot cake today for the office and will certainly be heading back to Arobake for cakes in future. Called up at about 9:30am and asked if it would be possible for it to be ready by about lunch time, quietly very unorganized, and it wasn’t a problem at all. The cake was very nice and everyone really enjoyed it, including those who don’t normally like carrot cake :). Thanks Arobake.
