Absolutely delicious food, and great service
Quality ●●●●●Service ●●●●○Atmosphere ●●●●○Very busy cafe. It is located in where you can have a nice view of the sea. I was just passing by then needed some caffeine so walked in this cafe. There was a full of people, and I ordered a cup of trim flat white. Got it with a small donut which went so perfect with the coffee. The coffee was also great. Because there was a full of people, I didnt stay in but rather took it away and enjoyed it in the car. Overall I had a pleasing moment and will definitely go back.
Another outing in between Christmas Day and New Years. The place was fairly packed, and pumping with patrons, inside and out, basking in the post Christmas Day warmth and sunlight. Understandably, the lunch meals took a wee bit of time, and can I suggest that if you have someone to look after your table, pop across the road and take in the easily accessible rock pools that are so typical of this area of coastline. Mind your footing as it can no doubt get pretty slippery when wet, but if you have young children, this is made for them. The meals are creative, satisfying and well presented. I savoured each one of my duck fat cooked potatoes, while the rest of the gang devoured their respective plates. Thanks to a bit of sharing, we got to appreciate the various flavours, met with lots of appreciative moans. If it’s too crowded out the front, there’s also an area out the back with more seating, and some cabinet food to choose from. On a final note, their home made fruit ice creams are really good. Great food, friendly service and a great location – a solid 4.5 out of 5 from me.
Great location and an improvement on it’s predesssor in my opinion. Kids menu had a decent selection and baked goods on offer looked and what we sampled was yum. Says its vegan friendly but I don’t agree, had to have a meal of sides so paid a bit for not very much unfortunately. Lovely spot for a beautiful Welly day.
