Fantastic. Consistently great food and great service. I’ve been a regular here for a long time and frankly its my favourite food place in wellington. $12 lunch deal for the win!
Came to Wellington for work and decided to order in. I ordered the butter chicken with coconut rice. The butter chicken is really bland and lacking flavour. The chicken is dry and overcooked. The naan bread and coconut rice is nice.. But the bland butter chicken ruined it for me. Being Indian I have tried a lot of butter chicken and honestly this doesn’t hit the mark (or come ever close to it).
It was our first time at this restaurant. Customer service was good. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered Chicken, karahi paneer and channa masala. None of the dishes had the right flavour. Chicken dish was too sweet, karahi paneer’s gravy was very tangy and that’s all we could taste in the entire dish.Channa masala was ok, not the best.
Visited this place after 5 years for lunch today. I had high hopes with the place as, I had very good experiance as far as I can remember 5 years ago.To be honest I felt very disappointed with the lunch manu and specially with the mains (chicken tikka masala and sahi paneer). The chicken pieces were clearly frozen and re-heated. This was so dry from inside and hard time chewing. With all that experiance with the food, I have to say that the guy serving the food was nice.I wish all the best to these guys to improve their food. Customers are hard to get and specially their trust so please don’t take them for granted.
Solo business trip on a miserable grey evening. Service here is very friendly, good selection of vegetarian dishes. Coconut rice especially good. I’ll be back again.
Excellent customer service, top of the line Indian food.Each curry had different taste and aroma, value for money.Will recommend every Wellington visitor to at least dine in once, owner was in his toes and looked after every customer personally and made sure all things were right.Veg n non veg both options are must to try.Cheese garlic nan, onion Kulcha, paneer kadhai and chicken jalfrezi.
Very friendly staff and the butter chicken and chicken korma was divine.I will definitely be back againThe restaurant was fairly busy as well
