Love my local, Friendly service and quick to make my food. The fish is always crunchy and everything is nicely salted. The scollops and mussels are yum, which I find quite rare these days. Love the pork buns and bacon fritters, that’s like a once a week for me. So good when I’m on a budget. Recommend if you’re in the area!
We had great expectations for this fish and chippie, but it just didn’t have anything going for it. We found it a bit bizarre that they were charging $9.00 for a piece of battered terakihi so just went with the ‘fish’. This tasted so foul and was so rubbery that we couldn’t even eat it. Unfortunately the chips were also pretty substandard with many of them undercooked and clumped together. I’m sorry to say that this place seems like a bit of a downer in the middle of such a pleasant, quality set of community shops. We won’t be giving it another try with all the other great places to eat nearby.

Always cooked to perfection. The fish fillets are massive and very tasty. Don’t be fooled by the way this place looks the food is great, classic fish and chip shop. Pity they are closed Monday’s.
Quality and authentic fish and chips every time. Always great customer service and very fast too. One of my favourite fish and chip places in Wellington for sure.
Tried this Friday as I had heard alot about how good it was sadly it was horrible the fish was not fresh at all and I didn’t even eat it the burger was average the chips were good but I was very disappointed wish I had of gone to supremo takeaways instead
