Concorde cafe sells baguettes, sandwiches, and pastries. They also sell coffee and juices. The coffee is remarkably average, if not a little smaller in volume than other cafes if you order takeaway. The sandwiches and baguettes are pretty simple, so nothing special there besides being reasonably priced. There are many varieties of baguettes and sandwiches to choose from. I tried the chicken pate and sour cream baguette and it was good, though a little difficult to eat without making a mess. The pastries were actually priced quite competitively and are delicious. The cafe sells cream puffs, fruit tarts, flap jacks and lemingtons to name a few. The cookies, however large they may be, are a little tasteless. I tried a small almond tart and it was delicious! Service was fast, and the staff were friendly. A good place to drop by for a little snack and a hot cuppa.
Concorde has the best baguettes and croissants in town! The filled rolls are delicious. I regularly come here for lunch as everything is reasonably priced. I also like their almond croissants, sausage rolls and fruit tarts.
Concorde is a convenient location for me to get lunch from and it’s reasonably priced! I love their filled baguette sandwiches, though I always feel once I have finished one that I could eat another! Probably because their bread tastes so great and because white bread in general isn’t that filling. I wouldn’t recommend their pastries or baked goods however as I always find these to be below average. Great for filled baguettes and baguettes on their own!
