This place has really excellent food . The meals were very tasty and fabulous. They pay great attention to the construction stage. I recommend everyone here. Although I am not from another country, I like the culture of this place very much . There are very good quality workers here . I especially congratulate Ege Cinel for his work and his efforts 🙂

Went back to Lambton Square Masala after a year of not having, and I will not being going back here as it felt like I was eating chilie flakes at a high price.

Quite disappointed. Was so looking forward to a good curry. And at $21.50 for a bowl and a naan, I think it’s fair to expect at least fairly descent quality.I had the Vindaloo. Making it hot is one thing, I can handle hot curry, but if you try hide bland, and tasteless with extra chilli you ruin the meal. It had almost no smell to it, which means very little spices and very little flavour, But they did try hide that with way too much chilli. The naan is also very plain with no taste or real texture, and still doughy and raw.I chucked more than half the meal, as it was basically inedible.Definitely won’t see me or my colleagues there again.

Unfortunately I have given this rating as today (4/10/2018) I went to the Lambton Square Masala, ordered for takeaway and then ate the Rogan Josh and a piece of garlic naan, only to begin throwing up a very uncomfortable hour later. It’s now 9:15 pm and I’m still vomiting. I had no other food today except the curry and naan, so I have no doubt that the food I ate from Masala was contaminated with something. For obvious reasons I won’t be going back there, which is a shame as I have previously enjoyed their curries with no issue.

12$ lunch option are nice for budget eats. Overall a nice place for some indian food. Huge place to sit and nice ambience. Located in the city makes it accessible.

I like a good curry, but for me, it’s hard to find one. For lunch today I tried Masala Express. They have about 12 different curries to choose from. Each is clearly labelled. They come with rice but they have naans you can order too. They offer a meal deal of curry, naan and drink for (I think) $13.50. Meals are ready very quickly. You can eat in or take away and they have a loyalty card. Buy 10, get the 11th free, up to a value of $9.50.I tried the Chef’s chicken curry, with rice and a plain naan for lunch today. It’s a basic curry of chicken, onions and sauce and it’s very tasty. The portion doesn’t look overly big but it’s enough. Nice, moist, large pieces of proper chicken. The naan is freshly made. It’s light and soft, not stodgy. There were a few cardamom pods and another pod of some kind in the sauce. Obviously for flavour, but watch out for them.I thoroughly enjoyed this curry. For $12.50, it’s not the cheapest meal on offer for the lunchtime diner, but it is a nice meal.Definitely keen to try some of their other curries – just not all the time to be fair to my wallet.
