Favorite lunch cafe in the CBD !!Large choice of salads to take away. An amazing selection of cabinet food, some sweat treats and great coffee, all of this at a very reasonable price and large plates!Absolutely in love with this place! Highly recommended 🙂
My favourite place for a well-priced, healthy lunch! If I’m late, and miss out on salads – their blackboard and cabinet options are also fantastic!Staff are always friendly, not just with customers, but also to each other – which is always good to see!
Salads that don’t taste like ‘salads’!!Fantastic for a working lunch! I go here regularly for their pick’n’mix salads and yummy cabinet food. Recommend the enchiladas 🙂
I don’t think there are many places left in Wellington where you can have $10 bacon and eggs but that was today’s special at Rahzoo and it surpassed expectations. The staff are friendly and helpful, food is good and coffee is yum! I also like the vibe of the place; I’ve noticed in suburban cafes I feel a bit out of place if I don’t fit into the mould of the area whereas we just blended into Rahzoo which made the experience nicer.
Rhazoo is a café, but they also do a takeaway salad bar. There are always lots of salads on offer (around 10-12) and lots of options, especially for vegetarians (which I am not but it is a nice change sometimes). The salads are freshly prepared that morning and they normally are ready to serve just before 12pm.A small takeaway container is $9.50 and gives you three options, while a large is $12.50 and gives you four choices. The servers always give you lots of salad; it’s well worth the money and one of the cheapest salad places around, and by far the nicest in my opinion.Today I chose the small, and my choices were Moroccan chickpea salad, spinach bacon and avocado salad, and chicken salad.Moroccan chickpea: Dates, slivered almonds, roast beetroot and pumpkin, chickpeas, some kind of mild spice (probably turmeric).Spinach, avocado and bacon – also had red onion in it and often has croutons.Chicken salad: Chicken, grapes, tomato, celery, carrot, mescaline, red onion, vinaigrette. All the salads were delicious; the Moroccan one was a little dry perhaps but lovely flavours when eaten all together. The chicken is juicy and the vinaigrette is light and tasty – homemade, not from a bottle. Will continue to be my favourite salad place. I will have to sit in one day and try their café menu.
Rahzoo is one of the few nice lunch places with friendly staff (especially, the Korean lady behind the counter) and good vegetarian options. Supplies are limited so don’t be late!
The coffee is good and the people behind the counter are awesome. My work colleagues and I go every morning. Food is consistently delicious and good value. I pretty much live there!
