My friend and I come here often for lunch during the week. The food is always lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Such a nice, peaceful place to eat hidden amongst the bustle of the busy city.
My friend and I shared the duck spring roll as the starter. This was overprice for the product that we got and especially for being a cafe rather than a restaurant. It was simply one spring roll and was not worth the $15. The spring roll was very tasty as it had the unique duck filling. The spinach and satay sauce was very nice. It was a shame that this portion was bigger than the actual spring roll. For the main, I had the pork belly, this was good. The skin was lovely with it being crispy. My friend had the lamb t-bone and she thought was a bit tough.The service was good and waiter was attentive to us.
Hi went here for the after 5 high tea expecting great things, the cocktails all sounded so great and the concept was a winner, who doesn’t want to get together for a few cocktails and nibbles on a Friday night? However the cocktails were barely drinkable it was something to do with the combinations of flavours and the food was average. save your money.
I always buy my take out coffee from this restaurant. In the past Jen was the staff member who always had a cheerful greeting and friendly welcoming demeanour. New staff arent as friendly and are slow. Pick up the service James Cook.
