Breakfast simple but well cooked. Service very disorganized with meals being delivered to the wrong tables and long waiting time which is not ideal when wanting a quick meal on a work morning.
Just came back from there..bruch was way better than anything I’ve had in Auckland. All the food was better tasting and the lady who served us was super nice and great customer service. Would recommend anyone check it out.
You get what you pay for. Cheap breakfasts but portion sizes are small. Ordered two poached eggs on toast. One egg was very much hard boiled while the other was poached well. Great for a cheap eat, especially on lambton Quay. Cooking and taste of meals are however a bit average.

Pretty mediocre food, but good vibes with the right people. Shoestring fries were dece, but the chicken skewers and vege burger were honestly pretty meh. Good try.Drinks are good, but probably won’t be back.
I’m a reasonably frequent visitor to The Old Bailey; and have to say their breakfast meals are pretty decent! The service is very consistent and meals arrive quickly — 5–10 minutes from ordering, and the food itself is nice. Once or twice I’ve ordered the mince on toast and had the bread be a bit hard, but otherwise it’s reasonably priced good food that serves well for breakfast.
Great spot for a quiet meal on a Monday night. Warm welcome and tasty meals. Beer was fresh and frothy. The steak deal was perfect – 2 sirloin for $30 is excellent value. Highly recommended.
