We were a group of nine. The waiter was lovely and our drinks came quickly. The garlic bread was nice. One of our group ordered 2 entree size dishes, Caribbean chicken skewers and vegetable croquettes. The chicken was ok but the croquettes were cold so were sent back and took ages the come back. One steak was ordered to be medium but was basically blue so that got sent back too. The second steak came out much better. But the worst thing was that when asked if the potato mash could be swapped out with some other hot vegetables (it came with green beans) we were told that they had no other vegetables at all!!
Accomodating for larger groups of 20+. Ordered the lamb kofta salad and a lemon lime and bitters. The lamb kofta was extremely charred on the outside and tasted burnt, not sure if this was intentional but it wasn’t the best kofta I’ve had. Our group also ordered the OB burger and lamb curry with a side of fries. Food overall wasn’t amazing for standard pub grub and was slightly overpriced for the underwhelming dishes. However, prices of drinks are reasonable and they always have specials. The servers are attentive and helpful even on busy evenings.
