I understood this is a hotel and we cannot expect much from the buffet breakfast but it was pretty bad. The “fried eggs” were moulded into little round sections, over cooked and rubbery. Mushrooms were terrible, bland and raw! As you were eating you couldn’t really tell the difference between what you were eating, all tasted the same. Would not pay for breakfast like that.
While the ambiance is a tad average, the service, staff and food were well above. Meals were generous, perfectly cooked and well balanced. I recommend the Chicken Supreme (see the menu for a rundown). The Scotch Fillet was melt-in-your mouth too. Amazing chips and fresh (but mountainous) salad. Oh and the brûlée??!! Mmmmmmmmmm so good.
Great service, and really good food so happy all round and would recommend this place to anyone. We have been several times and always go back again.
I ordered the sirloin steak medium well and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce with the steak was amazing and used that instead of other condiments for the fries. The salad had a very tasty dressing and it was very nice.
Had a business meeting over lunch.Excellent meal to complement the meeting. The food was delicious and a change from the norm. I had a pork belly wrap which was very tasty.
came for Wellington on a Plate lunch with a group of colleagues. The food was good, not great, but good, it was an enjoyable lunch, but I have no great need to go back
Looked at the menu online thought ‘this looks alright’ read a few reviews and headed out in the cold for lunch, sat down and presented with a clip board as pictured below, where you tick away and create your ultimate sandwich or burger. No different to pita pit or subway I suppose? Not saying it was a bad meal it was good but not great, could have whipped this up in the staff room at work, but if your going to pay $20 for a steak sandwich with bacon there’s plenty of other places you can go without your brain hurting from all these decisions you need to make. If your on holiday with kids this is perfect but not for me.
