Whenever I’m not feeling my prepacked lunch, this is what I’m craving instead!!Not only is it unbelievably affordable, but the quality never falters.I always get the Vegetable Tempura Udon noodle soup. Always!! It tastes exactly like it does in Japan, which can be rare to find in central Wellington.I frequently go to the Lambton location, and while it is always extremely busy, the line moves quickly and the staff are efficient. My only complaint would be having to wait in line in front of all the delish sushi before I can order.If only I remembered my loyalty card more often! Highly recommend this place for a weekday lunch

Rave written reviews but the overall rating shows there are others out there not rating this place a 5, I thought I would see for myself. The shop is very nicely presented and the staff are friendly, the sushi looks fresh and delicious with pretty good pricing. There are a number of outlets all within a two block area so these factors count in getting your business. They have their own branded paper bags which adds to that branding (they do this well). I however found the sushi to be a little lack lustre in terms of taste compared to some other outlets so would probably try another sushi spot before returning. One thing I did REALLY appreciate was that these guys offer gluten free soy for the sushi and that is the first I have seen so far – but a really nice touch.
By FAR the best Sushi in Wellington hands down. The sushi is beautifully presented and tastes amazing! Only problem is I work on the other side of town and can’t get there nearly as often as I like! Maybe a store on Cuba/Manners??
I LOVE Yoshi, I am a regular customer now! The sushi is always top quality and the staff there are always amazing- very polite and gracious. And its very reasonably priced too. The loyalty card also means I get $6 off every few visits or a free Miso which is fantastic.
Fantastic, fresh, delicious, sushi in a beautiful setting. The shop feels expensive but the sushi is the same price as everywhere else and the quality just can’t be beat. My only gripe is that it isn’t open on the weekends (..yet?Hint,hint!) They also have awesome card deals and I seem to hit the $6 off ticket far too quickly ;p I could eat this sushi every day 🙂
