This place had a serious upgrading in the last years. Now they have really great food there, especially the quiche with spinach which is just awesome. Quite pricy but totally worth it. Nice place otherwise, a lot of cosy corners to sit in 🙂
Delightful hostess who cooks all the food and runs the place with great joy and energy, copious fresh breakfast, quiet, peaceful room, Victorian Scandinavian decor, great location. History and beauty combined.

So cosy and charming. Feels like going back in time. The food is good. We had cake and coffee. A little expensive but worth it. Definitely going back here.
Some of the most charming cafees in Norway,we have several charming cafees in Grimstad, but this one is exeptional..Nice staff and tasty Food..Higly recommendable
A cafe for breakfast or lunch. Been known as the most charming cafe in Norway. Home made food and very good cakes.
I only had a drink here so can’t comment on the food but the decor is lovely including the roof terrace. The tables and chairs are reminiscent of the 30s
